This kitchen was woefully short of cabinet space, though there are ample short drawers and nice tall ceilings. We found ways to use the space effectively.
After: pots and pans got out in the open with a kitchen rail from LeeValleyHardware.com, and the counter was kept clear with a hanging dish rack from Ikea. A wall cabinet from CB2 rests on the edge of the counter to store bread and whiskey glasses.
The excess of shallow drawers is put to good use to store tea.
Daily use items sit on the counter in the corner, ready for use. The blender is plugged in and ready to go, and rests on a pad that allows for easy sliding out from the tucked in corner.
